Remembering September 11

Today is a very big day for many people. This day, 8 years ago, the twin towers came down. It was a very sad ordeal for everyone. I still can't believe that this actually happened. I remember what I was doing that day. I was actually in Math class, in junior high school. We were sitting down, when my math teacher came over and said, the twin towers came down. Everyone from my class was astonished, because no one has ever expected such a thing to happen. I remembered my dad had meetings there from time, to time. My dad was also sick these days, because of seizures he had been having. I was so scared, but the second school was out, I ran home, so quick and bugged my mom, on where my dad was. I was so relieved to find out he was okay, and home. The sadness that came over me for the people who had lost their loved ones was overwhelming. How can anyone take so many people's lives like that. It's ridiculous. They were innocent! All we can do today is have a moment of silence for the people who lost their lives, and remember them! :(
